Gene's Pear SaladIngredients:
Romain lettuce leaf, chilled
Pear Half, chilled & drained, (1 Tbsp liquid reserved)*
Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 Tbsp cream cheese, room temperature
French dressing

1. Trim lettuce leaf to fit salad plate
2. Place pear half, hollow up, on top
4. Stir together cream cheese and pear liquid
5. Spoon cream cheese into pear hollow
6. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese
7. Drizzle French dressing at an angle on top
Serve while cold

*This recipe uses canned pear halves, but could also accommodate fresh ripened pears.
