Chicken and Fruit SaladIngredients:
1 orange, supremed and cubed
15 large seedless grapes, halved
15 salted almonds, split

Mix all ingredients lightly, but thoroughly. Chill and serve on lettuce. Serves 8.

I made this recipe up one afternoon in August, 1966. We lived at 613 Plum Street, Danville, Illinois. Larry was working at WDAN Radio as News Director. He called me and said I should submit a “No Cook” recipe for a contest they were doing at the radio station. The judges apparently liked it because they voted it number one! (I didn’t get to have a prize, though)
