This sauce is delightful over apple pie, bread pudding or ice cream.

Serves 8

Apple Pie with Rum Raisin SauceINGREDIENTS:
5 1/3 tbsp butter
1 cup light brown sugar, tightly packed
2 tbsp light corn syrup
1/4 cup raisins
2 tbsp white rum

Melt butter in a sauce pan
Stir in brown sugar, syrup, and raisins
Stir unti thoroughly mixed.
Bring to a brief boil
Remove from heat, and add rum.
Stir quickly, cover, and set aside.
