Apple Pie with Rum Raisin SauceIngredients:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup hot water
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
1. Combine the first 4 ingredients in a saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until thickened. (6 to 8 minutes)
2. Add cinnamon and stir to combine

This is an excellent sauce to accompany fruit pies, bread pudding, and ice cream.
