Larry VaughnLarry’s Notes: This is very simple, but an absolutely safe, recipe that I learned as a Boy Scout on troop camp-outs. I still enjoy cooking it over an open fire in cast iron, and sharing it with my grandsons. We love this served warm with ice cream or cool whip, and the cinnamon sugar gives it just the tiniest little crunch. If you want to make a thicker cake, simply double the recipe.
