Ingredients:

8 ounces spaghetti
1 ¼ cups onions, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped
3 tablespoons butter
5 ½ cups chicken, cooked and diced
2 teaspoons garlic salt
4 cups of mild cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cans cream of mushroom soup (if you do not have mushroom soup simply use condensed milk or half and half and add a couple tablespoons of flour)
10 ounces milk
Pepper

Directions:

Cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
Saute the onion and green pepper in the butter.
Mix together all ingredients thoroughly in a large bowl.
Pour into greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 – 45 minutes until heated through. You may top with buttered bread crumbs and/or extra cheese the last few minutes of baking.

This is a delicious dish, and so easy to make! It’s great for a crowd and is much easier then making spaghetti and meat balls. I usually use frozen chicken breasts and cook them in the microwave for this recipe. Dinner might include a salad and bread or bread sticks. I have substituted several different cheeses; colby, sharp cheddar, velveeta, colby jack, etc. I think the mix we liked best is when I used 3 cups sharp cheddar and 1 cup velveeta.
